Dr Mackay is an Associate Lecturer with the Open University.
She has recently written module materials on child protection as part of Children and Families Social Work Practice for the new OU course, K271 Law and Social Work. Dr Mackay currently teaches: K271 The Law & Social Work Practice W340 Law, Culture & Society EK313 Issues in Research with Children & Young People Previously she taught on: K207 Law & Social Work Practice in Scotland In addition Dr Mackay has been Guest Lecturer on the following University Courses: 2017 Introduction to Criminal Justice, School of Law, University of Edinburgh. Dr Mackay delivered eight lectures on this undergraduate LLB course. 2016 Foundations of International Child Protection, Moray House School of Education, University of Edinburgh.
